This degree program offers hands-on training in all aspects of residential building, including framing, foundations, masonry, insulation, interior finishing, plumbing and electrical work. Graduates will also learn skills critical to good construction management and will be prepared to work in the construction industry, performing surveys for construction site layouts, applying proper building codes, and preparing drawings for residential and commercial construction projects.
Graduates may choose to enter the workforce or continue their education at a four year-college.

Working Experience (Connect You)
Connect You gives students work experience in their chosen career field while they are still enrolled in classes. Students are usually hired on a full-time basis during the summer between their first and second years. Some students also continue to work on a part-time basis when school resumes in the fall. Positions often lead to full-time jobs upon graduation.
